This privacy policy explains how Kingdom collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our site. We take your privacy seriously, and this document sets out your rights under UK data protection law.

Who controls your data

The data controller for this site is the kingdomcasino-fr.fr editorial team, contactable at [email protected]. We are responsible for deciding how your personal information is collected and used.

This policy covers only our own portal. When you navigate to the operator's platform, their own privacy terms apply – we recommend reading those separately before registering an account.

What information we collect

We gather information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what we observe as you use the site.

Information you provide includes anything submitted through our contact form – your name, email address, and the content of your message. We collect this only when you choose to reach out.

Technical data is recorded automatically: your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, time spent on each section, and the site that referred you here. We use cookies and similar technologies for this – our cookie policy explains what each one does and how to manage them.

Why we process your data

We use your information to run the site, respond to your queries, improve our content, and comply with legal obligations. Specifically:

  • Contact-form submissions allow us to reply to your questions and troubleshoot issues you report.
  • Analytics data shows which sections readers find useful, which guides need updating, and where navigation breaks down.
  • Advertising cookies help us fund the portal by displaying relevant offers – you can opt out through our consent banner or your browser settings.

We do not sell your data, rent mailing lists, or pass contact details to third parties for their own marketing.

Lawful basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, every use of personal data requires a lawful basis. Ours are:

Purpose Basis
Responding to contact-form messages Legitimate interest – you asked us a question
Analytics (anonymised traffic data) Legitimate interest – understanding how the site is used
Advertising cookies Consent – given via the banner when you first visit
Legal compliance (e.g., age-gating) Legal obligation

You can withdraw consent at any time – see "Your rights" below for how.

Who else sees your data

We share information with a small number of third-party processors, all of whom handle it under contract and in line with data protection law:

  • Analytics providers receive anonymised usage statistics to generate traffic reports.
  • Advertising networks set cookies to show targeted offers – they do not receive your email address or contact-form content.
  • Hosting services store the site's files and databases, including any messages you send through the contact form.

Some of these processors operate outside the UK. Where they do, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place – either through UK adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by the Information Commissioner's Office.

We will disclose information to law enforcement or regulators where required by a court order, to prevent fraud, or to protect the safety of our users.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the following rights over your personal data:

  1. Access – request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  2. Rectification – ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete records.
  3. Erasure – request deletion of your data, where we no longer need it for the purpose it was collected.
  4. Restriction – ask us to stop processing your data temporarily while a dispute is resolved.
  5. Portability – receive your data in a machine-readable format, or have it transferred to another service.
  6. Objection – challenge processing based on legitimate interest, including profiling for advertising.
  7. Withdraw consent – revoke permission for cookies or marketing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with your request. We will respond within one month, or explain why an exception applies. There is no charge for a straightforward request; we may ask for ID if your identity is in doubt.

The supervisory authority

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent data protection regulator. Visit ico.org.uk to file a concern or call their helpline on 0303 123 1113.

How long we keep your information

Contact-form messages are retained for two years from the date of your enquiry, then deleted. Analytics data is anonymised after 26 months. Advertising cookies expire according to the schedules set by each network – typically 30 days to one year. Necessary cookies last only for the session, or until you clear your browser cache.

We review stored data annually and delete anything no longer required for the purposes it was collected.

Protection of minors

This site is for visitors aged 18 and over (18+) only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted data through our contact form, notify us at [email protected] and we will delete it immediately.

Parents and guardians can use software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio to restrict access to gambling-related content on shared devices.

Changes to this policy

We update this privacy notice from time to time to reflect changes in law, our practices, or the services we use. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Significant changes will be highlighted on the homepage for 30 days after publication.

Contact us

Questions, requests or complaints about how we handle your data should be sent to [email protected]. We aim to reply within 48 hours during office hours, or the next working day for messages received over the weekend.

Access to this site is restricted to persons aged 18 and over (18+). If gambling ever stops feeling like entertainment, free and confidential support is available at BeGambleAware.org.
